Election related material from the countries of the former Soviet Union
The collection “Social Movements, Elections, Ephemera” provides an extensive pool of primary sources on elections and political movements in the countries of the former Soviet Union from 2010 to 2018. 
The databases include party programmes, propaganda material, special editions of newspapers and other material produced by political parties or candidates.
The collection is available free of charge in Germany and in German research institutions abroad via national licence. Documents can be downloaded in their original layout as PDF or in other formats.
Content of the Collection
The licensing was arranged in cooperation with the Specialized Information Service Russian, East and Southeast European Studies. Thus the complete collection is available for research in Germany. It also includes regions outside our focus areas. This gives political researchers an overall view of the political developments in the former Soviet states.

Modes of Access
University members may use the existing institutional access. This allows for an easy access without a separate login at most German universities and research institutions. Please inquire about possibilities of external access beyond the campus network (e.g. through VPN) at your home institution.
Interested parties without institutional access may register for a private login, under the condition of being a permanent resident of Germany. They will receive their login information via mail after registration.
