Apocalyptic Otherness: ‘They are Gog and Magog, gathered together for Battle’. Scyths, Arabs, or the US Army?

Outstanding scholars will treat the biblical origins of the Gog-and-Magog motif, its reception in early Christian literature and in the medieval exegesis as well as its further literary development in Europe.
