Menasearch Lukida 54

Since September 2022 MENAsearch is the discovery system of the FID Middle East, North Africa and Islamic Studies for your scientific research. From 1 June 2025, our search engine will switch from a single instance to the multi-library system ‘Ha:lit’ of the University and State Library of Saxony-Anhalt. From now on, MENAsearch will be offered there as a separate search space.

How do you find our search space?

In the new discovery system, you will still be directed to the search bar via “www.menalib.de“. As before, the stock of the FID and other libraries of the library network ‘K10+’ and of the Südwestdeutschen Bibliotheksverbundes are searched. Enter a keyword or click the lens icon.

In the coming days we will provide further information on how to use the system and how to search.Please note that there may be small changes and updates to the system from time to time.
