Video Conference of the University of Bonn from 17 to 18 December 2020
The conference will discuss the Awlād al-Nās, a middling group between the Mamluks and Egyptian society who occupied many key areas there.
This conference is the first time that research is focusing on this fascinating group, whose social history has been little studied to date.
This is an event of the DFG-Research Kolleg, “History and Society during the Mamluk Era (1250–1517)”
