The Specialised Information Service Middle East, North Africa and Islamic Studies organised its fourth academic advisory board meeting on 14 November 2022.
The Specialised Information Service is now in its third funding phase. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate what has been achieved and to present the goals for the new funding phase. The members of the Academic advisory board were asked to submit a written statement in the form of a survey sent out in advance, as well as to take part in a verbal exchange at the virtual Academic advisory board meeting.
The FID Middle East was pleased with the active participation in both events and would like to thank all members of the Academic Advisory Board for their attendance.
The Academic Advisory Board of the FID consists of experts from a wide range of research fields, including representatives from research institutes, associations and libraries with a focus on oriental studies.
