What happens next?

After submitting the form, the FID will check your material for possible secondary publications. For works without a publishing contract either the respective copyright or the open access policy of the respective publishing house is checked.

If you do not have suitable digital copies of your publications that suits secondary publication at hand, they will be digitised as far as possible and made available on the MENAdoc repository under the CC-BY-SA 4.0 DE licence.

With the confirmation of consent you grant the FID only a non-exclusive right of use, i.e. you can publish your articles on other repositories and platforms at any time.
