Islamic Studies E-Book Collection
The collection comprises 2,035 e-books, mainly in Arabic, on the topics of Islamic theology, Islamic law and Islamic history. A large part of the collection was already published in print between 2004-2016, but only a small part of it is available in Germany. The collection reflects the current discourse on Islamic theological issues in the Arab world.
Language & Literature and Classical Literature
The collections comprise over 2,600 e-books, mainly in Arabic. The larger of the two collections is Language & Literature and it contains 2,522 e-books. The second collection is Classical Literature with 150 e-books.
EBA E-Book Collections
This collection was created through evidence-based acquisition – an acquisition tactic in which the titles that were most desired by the specialist community are selected from a large pool of titles on the basis of usage statistics. As a result, our collection has been permanently expanded by 500 titles.
