Forschungsapparat in der Fernleihe
A central focus of the work of the FID Middle East-, North African- and Islamic Studies is to procure and provide academically relevant literature from and about the Middle East. In order to make these valuable resources accessible to researchers throughout Germany, a research apparatus has been established in the form of a long-term interlibrary loan programme.
This offer enables participating institutions to borrow books from the FID Middle East collection for a fixed period of up to six months. Access to the FID research apparatus is requested by the management of the relevant institute or institution. The identifier issued after allocation can then be passed on to all authorised employees.
Registration takes place by completing the form FID Research Apparatus - Application for special conditions for interlibrary loans.
Please note that this offer focuses exclusively on research literature that corresponds to our acquisition profile for the Middle East.
