Afterlife in Ancient Near Eastern Religions

The University of Oxford findet is hosting a conference on ‘Afterlife in Ancient Near Eastern Religions‘ from 16-18 July 2018. The Call for Papers is currently open.

To the Call for Papers:

ARAM Society for Syro-Mesopotamian Studies is organizing its Forty Ninth International
Conference on Afterlife in Ancient Near Eastern Religions, (including death and funerary beliefs
and ceremonies), to be held at the Oriental Institute, the University of Oxford, on 16th – 18th July
2018.
The conference will start on Monday 16th July at 9am, finishing on Wednesday 18th July at 7pm. Each
speaker’s paper is limited to 35 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes for discussion. All papers
given at the conference will be considered for publication in a future edition of the ARAM Periodical,
