The Specialised Information Service Middle East, North Africa and Islamic Studies held its fourth advisory board meeting on 14 November 2022.
Currently, the specialised information service is in its third funding phase. The meeting was intended to evaluate what has been achieved so far and to present the plans for the new funding phase. For this purpose, the members of the advisory board were asked for a written statement in the form of a survey sent out in advance, as well as for an in-depth discussion at the virtual advisory board meeting.
The FID Middle East was pleased with the lively participation in both and thanks all members of the advisory board for their participation.
The Scientific Advisory Board of the FID consists of experts from a wide range of research fields, including representatives of research institutes, professional societies and libraries with a focus on oriental studies.
